I have trouble sleeping. I am starting to figure out a few things with the sleep problems. I am starting the journey on understanding my fear of my dreams. My dreams remind me of the events I went through as a Hospital Corpsman. They are not replays of the event over and over again, but things that have similar feelings associated with those events.

Have you every experienced dreams that are similar? That is why when you wake up your thoughts go back to those events. It takes time to calm down, and to get control of your thoughts. I am starting a journey of re-scripting my dreams. As I go through this journey I will write down my experience with it.

The first step is all about journalling. Capturing the dream that I had (as much as possible). I have a journal close to me, and I have it available upon when I wake-up each morning. I will then analyze the information with my psychologist, and move into step 2. More to come on this. I am hopeful that I will get better sleep, but who knows. I do know the medications that I am on don’t help a lot. Have a good evening.
